Distinction in Performance recognition awarded to Gasconade County R-1 School District in Hermann

State education officials on Friday released final Annual Performance Reports (APR) for Missouri school districts, providing an update on how districts are meeting state standards for academic performance. Brock said the district was informed of a preliminary report which noted the district had qualified for the recognition again. This week brought official confirmation of the district’s status for the distinction honor.
R-2 Schools are among several neighboring districts which have also received the honor. Also earning Distinction in Performance recognition were the Gasconade County R-1 School District in Hermann, Crawford County R-2 in Cuba,  all three Osage districts (Westphalia, Linn, and Chamois), and New Haven. The elementary school districts of  Franklin County R-2 (Dissen), and Spring Bluff R-15 also earned the honor. Four Rivers Conference and other area schools to receive the recognition include St. James R-1, St. Clair R-13, Crawford R-3 (Steelville), Sullivan, Union R-11, Maries R-1 (Vienna) and Washington.
