At 5:02 pm today the Morrison Volunteer Fire Department and Hermann EMS were called to a structure fire on Main St. in Morrison.
A 1 1/2-story white frame house is fully engulfed in fire in the 700 block of Main St. at approximately 742 Main St. The Chamois Fire Dept. is also on scene while the Hermann Volunteer Fire Dept has arrived with their air tanks to help fight the thick smoke. Flames are at the roof and all the windows are broken out. The home is a total loss as fire fighters are bringing the fire under control.
