Missouri Tigers Play Iowa Hawkeyes In Insight Bowl on December 28th in Tempe, Arizona

Mizzou will play Iowa for the first time in a century when the two meet in the Insight Bowl on December 28th in Tempe, Arizona.

The two schools last played in 1910, and Missouri declined to play a planned four-game series with the Hawkeyes between 2004 and 2007. Head coach Gary Pinkel said the Tigers were trying to build their program, and to play an elite program like Iowa didn't make a lot of sense at the time.

The Tigers have won 40 games over the past four seasons, and will extend their school-record bowl streak to six.
