Lady Gaga: 'I smoke a lot of pot when I write music'

USA TODAY -- Before Lady Gaga came out of her shell on the Grammys, she was the subject of a 60 Minutes profile last night, in which she opened up about her drug use.
She told Anderson Cooper that some haters are just waiting for her downfall. "They want to see me fail. They want to see me fall on stage. They want to see me vomiting out of a night club. ... Isn't that the age we live in? That we want to see people who have it all lose it all?" She added, "I'm not a vomit-in-the-club kind of girl."
But she did admit she drinks and smokes marijuana. "I smoke a lot of pot when I write music. So I'm not gonna, like, sugar coat it for 60 Minutes that, you know, I-- I'm some, like, sober human being 'cause I'm not. I--"
Cooper interrupted her to say, "You still smoke up?"
She continued, "I drink a lot of whiskey and I smoke weed when I write. And I don't do it a lot because it's not good for my voice."

She told Anderson Cooper that she also drinks whiskey. Cooper drank whiskey with her at a pub in London. Don't know what brand she drinks but I suspect it might be Jack Daniels or Jim Beam. That's what all us singers drink!
