Hermann beats Hallsville
03/17 - Shelby Winkelmann had a game-high 34 points to lead Hermann to a 67-51 win over Hallsville Thursday at Hearnes Center. Also finishing in double figures for Hermann was Jamie Gleeson with 11 points. Ashley Mullings led Hallsville with 8 points. The leading rebounder for Hermann was Karinne Lane (8). Hermann (26-5) will play Stockton on Saturday at 5 p.m. for the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
Sunday there will be a parade through downtown for the Hermann High School girls' basketball team. The parade is to welcome the Lady Bearcats home from the state tournament, and will start at 4 p.m. on Gutenberg Street. The caravan will proceed west on East First Street, down Schiller Street and west on East 4th Street. Then it will go down Market to West Sixth Street, and follow Washington Street to Route 100 out to the high school.
