Franklin County man gets 100 years in prison for producing child porn

ST. LOUIS • A man from Franklin County has been sentenced to 100 years in prison on federal child pornography charges, authorities said Thrusday.
Jeffrey Greenwell, 39, of Sullivan, Mo., received 20 years each on five counts of production of child pornography, federal prosecutors say.
Greenwell pleaded guilty in June to allegations he photographed five children engaged in sex acts between January 2007 and October 2009.

Jeffrey Greenwell, 39, formerly of Sullivan, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Charles A. Shaw to 20 years on each of five felony counts of production of child pornography between 2007 and 2009. Judge Shaw ordered the terms be served consecutively. 

Greenwell was part of the so-called "Lost Boys" network that distributed child porn to members around the world.
Under federal sentencing guidelines, Greenwell will serve 85 percent of the 100-year sentence, a detective with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office said.
