Hermann FFA Chapter member, Amanda Schebaum, was awarded the Future Farmers of America Degree at the 83rd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis on October 23, 2010.
It is the highest degree awarded by the National FFA Organization and recognizes Amanda's demonstrated leadership abilities plus her outstanding achievements in agricultural business, production, processing and service programs.
Less than one in 154 FFA members advance through their local chapter and state FFA degree programs to earn this prestigious national degree.
Amanda is currently attending the University of Missouri-Columbia, majoring in Agricultural Education.
