Mizzou No. 7 in AP, No. 8 in coaches' poll
The Tigers jumped into the top 10, up 11 spots to No. 7 in the AP poll and up eight spots to No. 8, in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll, thanks to their win over Oklahoma on Saturday.Missouri had been ranked 11th in the BCS standings and is projected to jump to sixth when those are released tonight.
The Tigers (7-0) are at Nebraska on Saturday.
The No. 7 ranking in the AP is Mizzou's highest since 2007 when they reached No. 1 before ending up at No. 4
In the coaches' poll, the Cornhuskers are 12th after beating Oklahoma State.
