A Winter Weather Advisory for snow remains in effect until noon CST today. * Timing... snow will gradually end this morning as a winter weather system moves through the area. * Accumulations... total snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches is expected with locally higher amounts possible across northeast Missouri. * Impacts... snow covered roads will lead to hazardous driving conditions. Precautionary/preparedness actions... Motorists should plan for a slower than normal trip due to snow covered roads. Be especially alert when approaching bridges... overpasses... and curves. |
