Hermann, Missouri (KSDK)-- Officials say they cannot be certain exactly when a Gasconade County man died after an accident involving an all terrain vehicle on the man's farm, but indications lead them to believe it was Sunday morning.
Investigators discovered the body of 77 year old Thomas Arey pinned underneath his Polaris ATV at the farm on Little Bay Road in Hermann.
Officials say Arey was apparently sorting cattle on the ATV when the vehicle accelerated out of his control, flipping the utility vehicle over and trapping the man.
Authorities say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene Sunday afternoon after his discovery.
