Halloween events are on two nights this weekend plus normal Halloween Night.
Hundreds of kids in the Hermann area will be given several opportunities to trick-or-treat this year, with Friday and Sunday events planned Halloween falls on Sunday this year, but over 50 Hermann businesses will welcome youngsters on Friday evening from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The downtown merchants have been handing out candy to youngsters for the past five years. Then on Sunday, the annual Halloween event will be held in the lower city park, at the rear of the firehouse. This event will start at 5:30 p.m. Hermann-area emergency service agencies--police, sheriff, EMS and fire department personnel will partner with the Lions Club, Masonic Lodge and various other organizations in handing out treats to all trick-or-treaters.
Since Halloween falls on Sunday, the normal curfew hours for minors apply.
