GMO Giant Monsanto Caught Cooking It's Books

Monsanto reports 4th quarter loss, will restate earnings

  THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
October 6, 2011
__________________________________________________________________________

ST. LOUIS • Monsanto's fourth-quarter results beat Wall Street expectations. But the company says it has to restate the last two year's earnings because of a federal investigation into its herbicide sales.
The world's biggest seed company on Wednesday said a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will prompt it to restate earnings irregularities arising from incentives it paid dealers of its Roundup Herbicide.
The St. Louis company said it had a net loss of $112 million, or 21 cents per share, for the quarter ended Aug. 31. Monsanto Co. said that adjusted for one-time items, the loss was 22 cents per share. Revenue rose to $2.25 billion from $1.95 billion last year.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet had expected an adjusted loss of 27 cents per share on revenue of $1.91 billion.

COLOR OF LAW FILES: Nationwide Hoax Illegal to Film Cops Despite Clear Legal Precedent to the Contrary

_________________________________________________________________________

Cops Try To Hit Illinois Man With 15 Year Jail Sentence For Recording Traffic Stop

Despite clear legal precedent, nationwide hoax that it is illegal to film cops prevails
Paul Joseph Watson

__________________________________________________________________________

Cops arrested an Illinois man and tried to hit him with a 15-year jail sentence for “eavesdropping” after the man filmed his own traffic stop, in another example of how citizens are being intimidated out of documenting the actions of public servants despite every single case against Americans for recording police officers being thrown out of court.
.

.
“I’m just an ordinary citizen. I was on my way to the movies, and all of a sudden I’m facing a felony and 15 years in prison,” Frobe told ABC7.
Convinced that he had been stopped unfairly because he was not in a 35-mile-an-hour zone, Frobe used his flip camera to record the incident in Lindenhurst, before being arrested on “eavesdropping charges”.
Officer: “That recording? Frobe : “Yes, Yes, I’ve been… Officer: “Was it recording all of our conversation? Frobe: “Yes. Officer: “Guess what? You were eavesdropping on our conversation. I did not give you permission to do so. Step out of the vehicle.”
“I was terrified. I was absolutely terrified. I was begging him, I said I didn’t know about this law. Would you please take the camera – this is no big deal – and smash it. You know I didn’t know about the law,” Frobe told ABC7.
“And they had audio and they had video on me, but I’m not allowed to do it to them. I’m in a private car on a public street and it’s a public official. Why shouldn’t I be able to record what’s going on to prove my innocence?” he said.
After spending a night in jail, Frobe was released the next day and all charges against him were dropped. However, Frobe has decided to file a federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the law, an effort the Attorney General’s office has dismissed, but legal precedent clearly indicates that Frobe will win the case.
The Illinois eavesdropping law has been proven unconstitutional time and time again, and yet police in the state and other states around the country with even less strict laws are still arresting citizens for filming police officers. There is no reasonable expectation of privacy in a public place – that’s why police are allowed to film citizens from dashboard cameras. However, citizens are still being told they have less rights than public servants.
“It’s a public conversation about a public function. A traffic stop,” attorney Torri Hamilton said.
“He has no reasonable expectation that his conversation with Louis is private, and so therefore it shouldn’t be criminal to record it,” said Hamilton.
That stance has been backed up by court rulings over and over again, most recently in the case of Michael Allison, the 41-year old Illinois mechanic who faced life in jail for recording police officers. Despite aggressive efforts by the state to secure a prosecution, Circuit Court Judge David Frankland ruled that Allison’s First Amendment rights had been violated, that the eavesdropping law was unconstitutional, and dropped the case.
Frankland’s decision followed a First Circuit Court of Appeals ruling which found that, “The filming of government officials engaged in their duties in a public place, including police officers performing their responsibilities, fits comfortably within these principles [of protected First Amendment activity].”
Indeed, every similar case nationwide has concluded in all charges being dropped against the defendant. It is not illegal to film police officers in public.
Despite these rulings, we seem to have entered some kind of twilight zone where legal precedent no longer has any meaning. This is the true measure of a predatory police state. Cops are still being trained by their superiors that recording police officers is a criminal offense.
It’s time to put an end to the hoax once and for all – it’s going to take a deluge of lawsuits like that being pursued by Louis Frobe to finally teach law enforcement bodies in America that citizens will not have their First Amendment rights trampled. Filming police officers is not a crime and cops who arrest Americans for doing so will be sued personally.

EDITORS NOTE:

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Color of law refers to an appearance of legal power to act but which may operate in violation of law. For example, though a police officer acts with the "color of law" authority to arrest someone, if such an arrest is made without probable cause the arrest may actually be in violation of law. In other words, just because something is done with the "color of law", that does not mean that the action was lawful. When police act outside their lawful authority and violate the civil rights of a citizen, the FBI is tasked with investigating.

The Supreme Court has interpreted the United States Constitution to construct laws regulating the actions of the law enforcement community. Under "color of law", it is a crime for one or more persons using power given to him or her by a governmental agency (local, state or federal), to willfully deprive or conspire to deprive another person of any right protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States. Enforcement of "color of law" does not require that any racial, religious, or other discriminatory motive existed. Criminal acts under color of law include acts within and beyond the bounds or limits of lawful authority. Off-duty conduct may also be covered if official status is asserted in some manner. Color of law may include forced vaccinations for school aged children under threat of expulsion or placing the child's parents under arrest where no law exists to do so. Color of law may include public officials and non-governmental employees who are not law enforcement officers such as judges, prosecutors, and private security guards.  Furthermore, in many states it is unlawful to falsely impersonate a police officer, a federal officer or employee, or any other public official or to use equipment used by law enforcement officers, such as flashing lights or a fake police badge. "Possession of a firearm also can enhance the penalty for false impersonation of a police officer."

In U.S. law, the term color of denotes the “mere semblance of legal right”, the “pretense or appearance of” right; hence, an action done under color of law colors (adjusts) the law to the circumstance, yet said apparently legal action contravenes the law.

'Pepper-spray' Cop Identified as Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna: UPDATE:Bloomberg Attempt to Entice Riot Using Police Supervisor Provocateur or is it a Lone Wolf Rouge Cop

Occupy Wall Street: 'Pepper-spray' officer named in Bush protest claim

Anthony Bologna, NYPD officer named in pepper-spray incident, is accused of civil rights violations at the time of the 2004 Republican national convention protests

A senior New York police officer accused of pepper-spraying young women on the "Occupy Wall Street" demonstrations is the subject of a pending legal action over his conduct at another protest in the city.
The Guardian has learned that the officer, named by activists as deputy inspector Anthony Bologna, stands accused of false arrest and civil rights violations in a claim brought by a protester involved in the 2004 demonstrations at the Republican national convention.
Then, 1,800 people were arrested during protests against the Iraq war and the policies of president George W Bush.
Alan Levine, a civil rights lawyer representing Post A Posr, a protester at the 2004 event, told the Guardian that he filed an action against Bologna and another officer, Tulio Camejo, in 2007. The case, filed at the New York Southern District Court, is expected to be heard next year.
Levine said that when he heard about the pepper spray incident "a bunch of us were wondering if any of the same guys were involved".
The lawyer said Posr was arrested on 31 August 2004, after he approached the driver of a Volkswagen festooned with anti-abortion slogans.
His arrest was not directly related to the protest against the Republican convention, but was at a time of heightened tension in New York.
Levine said: "Police contend that Posr hit the man with a rolled-up newspaper. He said he was just talking to the guy. Bologna ordered another officer, Camejo, to arrest Posr."
Posr was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of second degree harassment, and held until September 2. On November 8, all charges against him were dropped.
Levine said that, in a departure from normal police procedure, his client was held in a special detention facility, at Pier 57, where he and others arrested were held until the protests were over.
The Guardian asked the NYPD to respond to the naming of the officer and the allegation that he was previously the subject of a civil rights complaint, but a spokesman said the department had not yet decided whether to comment.
Bologna's name appeared on Twitter and on activists' websites after the incident on Saturday. YouTube footage appears to show a white-shirted NYPD officer firing the spray into the eyes of the protesters, who are penned in by other officers with orange netting. As the officer walks away, two of the women crumple to the ground, screaming in pain.
There were a number of clashes between protesters and police at the march, when protesters moved uptown from their base at a park in the Financial District. There were about 80 arrests.
Hacker collective Anonymous claimed responsibility on Monday for posting Bologna's details, which they said was in retribution for the pepper-spray incident.
The online postings identified Bologna as a deputy inspector of Patrol Borough Manhattan South, and revealed his phone number and family details.
The information, posted on a site called Pastebin, included a statement which read: "As we watched your officers kettle innocent women, we observed you barbarically pepper-spray wildly into the group of kettled women. We were shocked and disgusted by your behaviour."
"You know who the innocent women were; now they will have the chance to know who you are. Before you commit atrocities against innocent people, think twice. WE ARE WATCHING!!! Expect Us!"
Since the post, other activists have followed suit, urging people to call his precinct to complain or to call him directly.
The move drew a mixed response from the Occupy Wall Street activists who have been camped out in Zuccotti Park for nine days. Many say they were angry about the "brutal and unnecessary" tactics used by police at the weekend.
Hero Vincent, 28, an artist from the Bronx, said: "I think it should be out there, so that people know what's going on and if people want to enter his precinct and ask that he should be fired, they can. We are a peaceful protest. For them to attack us is wrong."
Vincent, who was arrested for resisting arrest on Saturday, claimed he was kicked in the stomach by officers.
But there was also disquiet over the officer's family details being made public.
Another protester, who did not want to be named, told the Guardian: "My dad is a police officer and he got a lot of death threats. I don't know if his family details should be out there. But if the information is correct and he has a rights case against him, I'm extremely concerned that he was put into what was a very tense situation."
One protester, Jeanne Mansfield – who said she was standing so close to the women sprayed in the face that her own eyes burned – claimed other NYPD officers had expressed disbelief at the actions of the senior officer.
In a vivid account of the incident in the Boston Review, Mansfield said: "A white-shirt, now known to be NYPD Lieutenant Anthony Bologna, comes from the left, walks straight up to the three young girls at the front of the crowd, and pepper-sprays them in the face for a few seconds, continuing as they scream 'No! Why are you doing that?!'"
Despite her attempts to turn away from the "unavoidable" spray, Mansfield, who took part in Saturday's march with her boyfriend on a whim after "stumbling across" it, said she suffered burning and temporary blindness in her left eye and tears streaming down her face.
She continued: "In the street I shout for water to rinse my eyes or give to the girls on the ground. But no one responds. One of the blue-shirts, tall and bald, stares in disbelief and says, 'I can't believe he just fuckin' maced her.'"

Anthony Bologna Petition: Remove Mr. Mace From NYPD Force

By Wednesday, September 28, 2011
deathandtaxesmag.com

A petition has been created at Change.org with the intent of being sent to Mayor Michael Bloomberg, asking him to remove NYPD’s deputy inspector of Patrol Borough Manhattan South Anthony Bologna from the force for pepper-spraying peaceful protesters at Union Square on September 24th.
The protesters were already hemmed in with orange netting. They had nowhere to go. They were effectively neutralized by the law, and yet Bologna thought it a good idea to sneak in, pepper-spray the protesters and then run away like a coward back into his crowd of police officers, as though cameras would not catch him if he were quick about it.
The NYPD is defending Bologna’s actions and there is no sign that his conduct is being investigated. Indeed, the NYPD, through spokesperson Paul Browne, is advancing the absurd theory that they, in fact, are the victims here. Therefore, this petition is essential.
The petition states, “We demand that Anthony Bologna be charged with assault for his actions and that he sees jail time.”
It also states, “We demand that Mayor Michael Bloomberg address the Occupy Wall Street & General Assembly and apologize for the police brutality and the weak attempt at a cover-up that has followed.”
Also included in the petition is a request to remove NYPD Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly for not being able to control senior officers but in “sheltering them from receiving punishment.”
Bologna clearly displayed not only a lack of judgment but also a reprehensible reaction to his own actions—running away from his handiwork and, according to some, laughter. At the very least, the pepper-spray incident deserves investigation, as well as the high-tailing it from the scene; but the laughter after the fact should be investigated as well.
It seems that Bologna has a history with protesters. Bologna stands accused of false arrest and civil rights violations in a 2007 claim filed by a protester who attended the 2004 Republican National Convention demonstrations. The case is to be heard next year. And Cryptome makes reference to a 2001 May Day incident in which Bologna shoved two protesters.
Head over to Change.org to sign the petition.

Wall Street protesters cuffed, pepper-sprayed during 'inequality' march

Sunday, September 25th 2011

Scores of protesters were arrested in Manhattan Saturday as a march against social inequality turned violent.
Hundreds of people carrying banners and chanting "shame, shame" walked between Zuccotti Park, near Wall St., and Union Square calling for changes to a financial system they say unjustly benefits the rich and harms the poor.
At least 80 people were carted away in police vehicles and up to five were hit with pepper spray near 12th St. and Fifth Ave., where tensions became especially high, police and organizers said.
The National Lawyer's Guild, which is providing legal assistance to the protesters, put the number of arrests at 100.
Witnesses said they saw three stunned women collapse on the ground screaming after they were sprayed in the face.
A video posted on YouTube and NYDailyNews.com shows uniformed officers had corralled the women using orange nets when two supervisors made a beeline for the women, and at least one suddenly sprayed the women before turning and quickly walking away.
Footage of other police altercations also circulated online, but it was unclear what caused the dramatic mood shift in an otherwise peaceful demonstration.
"I saw a girl get slammed on the ground. I turned around and started screaming," said Chelsea Elliott, 25, from Greenpoint, Brooklyn, who said she was sprayed. "I turned around and a cop was coming ... we were on the sidewalk and we weren't doing anything illegal."
Police said 80 protesters were arrested or ticketed at multiple locations for disorderly conduct, blocking traffic and failure to obey a lawful order but the number could rise.
Officials said protesters did not have a permit for the march and one demonstrator was charged with assaulting a police officer, causing a shoulder injury. The NYPD was investigating the use of pepper spray.
"I was shocked because it seemed like one person after another was being brutally tackled, and it wasn't clear why," said Meaghan Linick, 23, from Greenpoint, Brooklyn, who attended the rally. "I was deeply disturbed to see them throw a man [down] and immediately they were pounding on him. Their arms were going back in the air. I couldn't believe how violent five people needed to be against one unarmed man."
The protesters, joined together under the banner of an organization called Occupy Wall Street, have been stationed in Zuccotti Park since last weekend, attempting to draw attention to what they believe is a dysfunctional economic system that unfairly benefits corporations and the mega-rich.
"The central message is that in this country, there needs to be more conversation about wealth and power," said 23-year-old student Patrick Bruner.
As night fell, those detained were hauled out of vans and buses and into police precincts to be processed.
Hundreds more protesters congregated in Zuccotti Park where for a while another clash with police seemed imminent, but as midnight approached tension eased as die-hards prepared to camp out for the night. With Ashley N. Fleming,

FDA Declares War on Heathy Raw Natural Foods: Beta Testing Raids, Arrests on Private Food Clubs Nation Wide

April 8 and April 15, 2009—Bechards--Missouri
In Missouri the law is that you can sell raw milk on the farm and deliver it without a permit.  The daughters of Conway, Missouri farmers, Armand and Teddi Bechard, allegedly sold raw milk to undercover agents from the Springfield-Greene County Health Department in the parking lot of Mama Jeans Natural Food Market in Springfield, Missouri.  The city of Springfield filed criminal charges against Armand for operating without a food establishment permit; Springfield Municipal Court found Armand Bechard guilty and fined him $250.  Armand appealed the decision to the Greene County Circuit Court and the judge threw out the case, ruling that Bechard was not the proper subject of the lawsuit; any suit should have been filed against his daughters.  While the City of Springfield was bringing criminal charges, the State of Missouri petitioned the Greene County Circuit Court for an injunction against Armand and Teddi Bechard to limit their delivery of raw milk to the home of customers; the Bechards had been delivering raw milk to a central distribution point which is more convenient for both the Bechards and their customers.  The trial has not been held yet on the state's petition.

August 30, 2010—Morningland Dairy—Missouri
FDA issues a damning press release claiming “Morningland Dairy of Mountain View, Missouri, is recalling 68,957 pounds of cheese because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes and also has the potential to be contaminated with Staphylococcus aureus.”   Their evidence is ambiguous at best but the resulting loss of revenue has seriously jeopardized the continuing operation of a family small-scale, cheese maker.  Full Report

VIDEO: Rawesome foods raided: A sad day for America

.

.
__________________________________________________________________________

Venice, California ---August 6th 2011---  In a time of great economic turmoil, the Federal Government has again chosen to spend the tax dollars of the people by focusing attention on and strong arming Organic Food Buying clubs.
For the second time in a year, Rawesome Foods in Venice California (a private, members only, food co-op) was raided. Owner James Stewart was taken in handcuffs and held on a felony offense. 2 others (Sharon Palmer and Victoria Blcoh) were arrested, all on criminal conspiracy charges stemming from “the alleged illegal production and sale of unpasteurized goat milk, goat cheese and other products."

Weapons drawn and security cameras disabled
Although the warrant for the raid clearly stated “various samples of any food products present may be taken for laboratory analysis”, authorities illegally seized and dumped hundreds of gallons of raw milk and wiped out entire shelves and stock of other products.
Authorities conducted the raid with weapons drawn and disabled security cameras to seemingly hide infractions during the raid.
No health issues nor complaints have ever been filed against the club, and raw milk is legal in California. The issue stems from members of the club entering into a “herdshare arrangement” in which they paid a local farmer to board and milk their dairy goats. California authorities deny the legal legitimacy of herdshare arrangements, stating that such herdshares are unlicensed dairies.
Although in other cases, herdshares have been givennon-judicial cease-and-desist orders, in this case, those involved were arrested with bail set at between $60,000 and $123,000 and without the option of using bail bonds.

Rawsome Foods stripped shelves
The over excessive use of force, and the exuberant sums of the initial bonds drew the ire of many club members and local residents. Hundreds gathered at the courthouse the day after and global outrage ensued after word spread via social networks and message boards.
After hearing the entire story, an L.A. county judge reduced James Stewarts bail from $123,000 to $30,000 and Victoria Bloch and were released.
Sad Day in America
Although there has been small victories for Rawesome after the initial raid, its left members and the community shaken up and saddened.
Rawesome food supporter Jeri Rice states: “There is so much going on in this world right now, that to stop Americans from being able to buy food from a small organic grocery next door is the biggest crime there is…”  Another member and concerned mother states: It’s very disappointing that in the United States, and especially in California, that I cant feed my family the basic foods that God made and provides…”
Raw Grassfed milk and products (which have been produced and consumed safely for thousands of years) have been shown to help combat allergies, gastro intestinal disorders, build the immune system and have helped children with autism and Asperger syndrome. These positive benefits are not found in pasteurized milk, which in fact can cause many of the symptoms listed. This makes raw milk a very popular and crucial part in a mothers’ dietary planning for their children and family.
This is not just a case and situation that pertains only to raw milk drinkers and organic food buyers. This is a blatant case in point of federal government abusing its power and authority. If the federal government is allowed to convene in this manner, what's next?

Big Sis Set To Zap Travelers With MRI-Style Scans

Janet Napolitano’s promise that Americans won’t be forced to remove their shoes comes at a price

Janet Napolitano’s promise that travelers will soon not be required to take their shoes off at airport security checkpoints comes at a cost – new MRI-style scanners that will zap Americans with a powerful magnetic field that has been linked with numerous health risks.
“Safran Morpho, a firm that was formerly a part of General Electric’s Security division, told POLITICO that their model could be mass produced in a matter of months and that a prototype was already ready.”
“Morpho’s device would scan shoes in three ways: using technology similar to MRIs used in medical settings; explosives trace scanners; and traditional magnetometer metal detection,” according to the Politico report.
However, the new technology is set to be unveiled with barely a whimper of public discussion about the potential health concerns associated with MRI scanning technology, which is normally only used in highly controlled medical settings, and the sanity of allowing such sensitive technology to be operated in busy airports by low-paid TSA security goons.
MRI scans can be dangerous and even fatal for individuals who have implants in their body which contain metal.
People with implants in their body should not use MRI-style scanners, because the magnetism generated by such technology can cause implants to move, causing physical damage to the body. If the device helps perform a bodily function, the scan can also cause it to malfunction. This is particularly dangerous to anyone who has a knee or hip replacement, because the scan can damage and weaken surrounding tissues.
The scan also causes metal objects to heat up, risking burns. This heating process can also be fatal for the babies of pregnant women.
People with damaged kidneys would also be at risk from the dye used in some MRI scanning technology, which can cause, “nephrogenic systemic fibrosis (NSF) in patients with impaired kidney function.”
MRI scans have to be conducted in highly controlled medical environments because the high magnetism of the device can cause loose objects to fly across the room like missiles. The hustle and bustle of a busy airport security checkpoint, where all kinds of objects are on display, is one of the least suitable situations in which such technology should be used.
In 2008, the Health Protection Agency was asked to investigate the risks associated with magnetic resonance imaging because, “The exposures to patients and medical staff from the magnetic fields can be high and there is a shortage of information on possible adverse long-term health effects,” said HPA chairperson Sir William Stewart.
The study, which was backed by the World Health Organization, was tasked with investigating whether there was a link to cancer because the powerful magnetic field generated by the technology “can interrupt normal body functions.”
The TSA’s record on properly evaluating the health risks posed by scanning technology does not bode well for the safe introduction of MRI-style scans, which are great for helping to diagnose medical problems in carefully regulated hospital environments, but have no place in airports being operated by minimum wage TSA goons.
In claiming their radiation-firing naked body scanners were completely safe, the TSA ignored studies by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Inter-Agency Committee on Radiation Safety, Columbia University and the University of California, who all concluded that such scans would increase the risk of certain types of cancer.
When a “cluster” of cancer cases developed amongst TSA screeners at Boston Logan, the TSA attempted to cover up the story.
Documents obtained by Forbes show that the federal agency “Has been planning pilot programs to deploy mobile scanning units that can be set up at public events and in train stations, along with mobile x-ray vans capable of scanning pedestrians on city streets.”
“This would allow them to take these technologies out of the airport and into other contexts like public streets, special events and ground transit,” says Ginger McCall, an attorney with EPIC. “It’s a clear violation of the fourth amendment that’s very invasive, not necessarily effective, and poses all the same radiation risks as the airport scans.”
Indeed, mobile scanning vans are already roaming American streets and highways, conducting drive-by scans of the American people with technology that can see through walls, cars and clothing.
EPIC (Electronic Privacy Information Center) filed a lawsuit in May against the DHS for attempting to keep the program secret.
EPIC’s suit asked a federal court to order disclosure of nearly 1,000 pages of additional records detailing the controversial program – records the agency has repeatedly refused to make public, despite freedom of information requests and appeals over the last seven months.
The lawsuit points to an agency under the DHS umbrella, the Science and Technology Directorate, which has released only 15 full pages of documents on the mobile scanners, whilst heavily redacting another 158 pages and withholding 983 pages of documents.
In February, EPIC discovered (PDF) that the DHS had paid contractors “millions of dollars on mobile body scanner technology that could be used at railways, stadiums, and elsewhere” on crowds of moving people.

460,000 Pot Plants Destroyed Over 100 Arrested for Marijuana Cultivation by California Police on Public Lands

California police arrest 100 over marijuana growing

Police in northern California have uprooted 460,000 plants and made more than 100 arrests in a major operation against illegal marijuana cultivation.
Authorities said they had seized 1,500 pounds (680kg) of processed marijuana, 27 guns and 11 vehicles over two weeks in Mendocino National Forest.
The 900,000-acre site is part of an area known as the Emerald Triangle for its high number of marijuana plots.
The raids are part of a wider campaign to remove marijuana from public land.
Marijuana for medicinal use is legal in California if you have a permit to grow it or a doctor's note to buy it.
But Mendocino County Sheriff Tom Allman said there was no sign that any of the gardens raided were being used to grow medical marijuana.
In the past, Mexican drug cartels have been blamed for the cultivation large quantities of marijuana in California, though no details were given about those arrested over the past two weeks.
But US Attorney Melinda Haag told the Associated Press that 25 people were already facing federal charges.
"The Mendocino National Forest is under attack by drug traffickers," she said.
Public land is often chosen by clandestine growers because of its remoteness.
Forest Service officials in California have long expressed concern about the environmental impact of the cultivation.

In Rochester, New York, if you dare protest against the thuggish behavior of the local cops, you might get a big fat ticket. That’s what happened when people came out to support Emily Good, the woman arrested for recording the police.

She was completely within her rights to do so, standing on her how private property, but one of Rochester’s finest ignored her rights and trespassed and arrested her. See a video of the incident below.

Now the cops in upstate New York are going after people outraged over the incident. This is obviously political intimidation. The Rochester cops are attempting to prevent people from exercising their First Amendment right. It’s the sort of behavior one would expect in a communist country or some tin horn dictatorship, not America.

Obama Doublespeak Drawdown Speech: More Orwellian Lies - Only Bringing Home ONE THIRD of Afghanistan Troops

Obama’s Drawdown Speech: More Orwellian Lies

___________________________________________________________________________

Obama begins his speech by claiming Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda attacked the United States on September 11, 2001. Like his predecessor, the government, and the corporate media, he does not offer any evidence but simply states it as fact.
.

.
The events of September 11, 2011, were not included on Osama’s FBI poster. According to the FBI, Osama was wanted in connection with the August 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, not the attacks of September 11.
Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI, admitted years ago that there is no evidence connecting the Saudi to September 11. “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Osama bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11.” Tomb said in 2006. “Bin Laden has not been formally charged in connection to 9/11.”
Obama states the nation was unified when it invaded Afghanistan in October of 2001. Polls revealed at the time that more than 90 percent of Americans supported the invasion. National polls, however, do not reveal that Americans were bamboozled through relentless propaganda by the government and the real reason for going into Afghanistan was kept secret. Americans were not told that the government had planned to invade the country prior to September 11, 2001.
They were also not told at the time that the United States had no intention of capturing Osama bin Laden and putting him on trial. Mullah Abdul Salam Zaeef, the Taliban ambassador to Pakistan, said two days after September 11 that the Taliban would turn Osama bin Laden over to the United States if it provided evidence of his complicity in the event, which Osama denied on two occasions, September 18 and the 28. In late September, General Hamid Gul, the former head of the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI), gave several interviews in which he stated Osama bin Laden was not responsible for 9/11. Gul said he believed the attacks were perpetrated by the Israeli Mossad and renegade elements within the US Air Force.
“Deliver to United States authorities all the leaders of al-Qaeda who hide in your land,” Bush ordered in his now infamous “Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists” speech of September 20. He ignored the Taliban offer to turn over Osama because there was no evidence against him.
The U.S. had a plan to invade the country and overthrow the Taliban “before the snows started falling in Afghanistan, by the middle of October at the latest,” the BBC reported in late 2001.
In 1995, Unocal signed an $8 billion deal with Turkmenistan to construct pipelines as part of a plan for two pipelines designed to transport oil and gas from Turkmenistan through Afghanistan and into Pakistan. The U.S. was working with the Taliban – a strident Wahhabi sect created through a collaboration between the CIA and Pakistan’s ISI following the Afghan civil war – to support the pipeline deal, but by the middle of 2001 they were threatening the Taliban with “carpets of bombs” if they didn’t accept a deal on their terms.
Obama then states that al-Qaeda had “escaped into Pakistan.” He does not bother to mention that the U.S. and the Pakistanis secretly airlifted Taliban and al-Qaeda fighters out of the besieged Taliban stronghold of Kunduz, in Northern Afghanistan, in late November of 2001. When word of the mission went public, then Defense Secretary Rumsfeld lied about it. “Oh, you can be certain of that. We have not seen a single – to my knowledge, we have not seen a single airplane or helicopter go into Afghanistan in recent days or weeks and extract people and take them out of Afghanistan to any country, let alone Pakistan,” he said during a Pentagon briefing. As Seymour Hersh noted at the time, the airlift would never have happened without Rumsfeld’s approval.
Obama claims the U.S. had to stay in Afghanistan so long because of a “resurgent Taliban,” but he says nothing about the fact that the U.S. was paying them off. “In a continuous flow of money, American tax dollars end up paying members of the Taliban and funding a volatile environment in Afghanistan,” Project Censored reported. “The funding of the insurgents, along with rumors of American helicopters ferrying Taliban members in Afghanistan, has led to widespread distrust of American forces. In the meantime, the US taxpayer’s dollar continues to fund insurgents to protect American troops so they can fight insurgents.”
In his speech, Obama pledges to bring home 10,000 soldiers by the end of this year and 23,000 more by the end of next summer, right before the 2012 presidential election. In other words, he has pledged to bring home the 30,000 troops he ordered into the country in December of 2009. According to Pentagon figures, there were 94,000 U.S. personnel in Afghanistan as of May compared with 92,000 in Iraq. Obama’s drawdown – heralded by a complaint corporate media as the beginning of the end of the war in Afghanistan – represents just over a third of all service members currently occupying the country.

The United States never plans to leave Afghanistan or Iraq. It plans to expand its wars in Pakistan and now Yemen, Somalia and the Horn of Africa. Obama, as commander-in-chief, will head up an invasion of Libya tentatively planned for October. The wars will expand, not contract, until the empire collapses in upon itself from the stress and contradictions.
Barack Obama aka Barry Soetoro’s speech was simply more Orwellian Doublespeak directed at the plebs as the Republicans get ready to pick their establishment vetted presidential candidate – more than likely Rick Perry – and head into the dog and pony show next year.
For the New World Order, war is peace. Obama’s latest bout of polished teleprompter reading is merely another example of that.
