Free ECC Workshop on Small Business Start-Up Basics - 

December 3,  8:30 a.m. to Noon

On Friday, December 3, the Economic Development Center at East Central College, with the support of Wells Fargo Advisors and the ECC Foundation, will hold a free workshop designed to introduce people to the basics of starting and operating a small business in Missouri .   

The event is designed to educate people about the forms of business ownership, basic business plans, legal requirements, data gathering, record keeping, marketing, information management, and external resources available.  People who are thinking about opening a business, as well as those who have recently started their own business are encouraged to attend.

The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Health & Science Building on the ECC campus in Union. 

Although the workshop is free, pre-registration is required by December 1.  Seats can be reserved by emailing:  businessdept@eastcentral.edu or by calling 636-584-6598.
